EV Spring Series - upgrade points

This is from Cycling BC's rules:

6. What races can I enter to earn upgrade points?

Any race registered on Cycling BC’s provincial road calendar that offers all or some of the standard ability categories offers upgrade points for those categories, according to the scale (5 places deep): 8, 6, 4, 3, 2. This includes BC Cup Races.

Cycling BC does not track upgrade points for club, regional, or sport-class races (example: the EV spring series, weeknight races). However, riders who win their category at such a race may claim 1 upgrade point, provided that:

It can be verified that the race was supervised by Commissaires

The win occurred in a category of equal or greater difficulty than the rider’s current ability category

The win can be verified by an independent source (i.e. a web site)

At least 20 riders were present in the category

It is the rider’s responsibility to collect the necessary supporting information for presentation to Cycling BC. Usually, the name of the Commissaire present and a reference to the web site containing the results is sufficient.

So it would appear that you can get some upgrade points, if you win.
